This lot of 1 Very Rare WWII HAMILTON Ships Chronometer Watch Gimbaled Model 22 is Running,  Keeping Time, and The Wind Indicator Works. Overall, this is in very good condition but does have marks and scratches throughout as you would expect of something of this age. This is the original Hamilton nice condition cream dial that appears all original un-refinished with marks, spots and
discoloration
but still very legible with great character.
Discoloration and marks on dial are under the enamel so it believed to have been there when it was put together small scratches by seconds hand.

This watch was manufactured by the Hamilton Watch Company, a very well known watch company. This particular watch is in good condition, running, keeping time and the wind indicator works with wear, marks and scratches throughout but in very good condition. The gold colored Correct Time advertisement with the black lettering has wear and is peeling away from the back. The white Correct Time advertisement with the blue lettering is in very good condition for its age with some discoloration visible.  This watch is easily comparable to Rolex or Patek Philippe or any other high end watch a great chance to own an amazing watch.
MOVEMENT
:  Hamilton Movement. 21 Jewel. Manual Wind Mechanism
(Must be wound manually to make run) Movement in good condition shows some wear it is very functional all components. Movement marked ” Hamilton Watch Co Model 22 – 21 Jewels Adj to Temp. & 6 Pos Made in U.S.A. U.S. Navy – BU. Ships 1942 FS 2F21462 ” .  In running condition , keeping time , and wind indicator works .
CASE
: marked ” Hamilton 3980 ” in nice condition shows wear , oxidation, marks and scratches throughout as something you would expect of this age . Crystal in good condition, scratches and marks crazing .  Crown in good condition and works as intended. Safety for setting is intact and works as intended.
DIAL

:  This Very Rare WWII HAMILTON Ships Chronometer Watch Gimbaled Model 22 is Running,  Keeping Time, and The Wind Indicator Works. There is some wear throughout scratches, marks, discoloration but overall this is in good condition and is running, keeping time and all things work as they should.
The gold colored Correct Time advertisement with the black lettering has wear and is peeling away from the back. The white Correct Time advertisement with the blue lettering is in very good condition for its age with some discoloration visible.
